Civility Training May 12th
Have you been in a meeting or event when someone acted disrespectfully? Have you been turned off at a dinner party because people get angry with each other about politics? Are you concerned because you observe an increase in the number of disrespectful comments on television and in the everyday life of your community? The Door County Civility Project aims to address these issues and advance the cause of civility in everyday lives of people in our community. Attend an upcoming training to learn about this project and discuss the basic tools of civility (paying attention, listening, being inclusive, not gossiping, showing respect, being agreeable, apologizing, giving constructive criticism, and taking responsibility) as well as how to promote civility in Door County. DC Civility Project trainers will facilitate this highly interactive session. Tuesday, May - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Get Real Café, 116 S Madison Ave, Sturgeon Bay Registration is required.
